Surrendered lives

<p>The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Psalm 134:2, “Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the Lord!” Why is lifting hands to the holy place to bless the Lord important? Because it depicts a life surrendered to the Lord. In many civilizations, people lift up their hands to law enforcement as a sign of surrender during a confrontation. Doing so, is one of the most effective ways to manage tension. If the show of hands depict surrender to an earthly authority, how about hands that are constantly lifted to the Most High?</p>
