Saturday July 17th    The Supernatural Today 6   Sometimes life serves us with some situations that are very difficult to handle, and we must remember to always show understanding and compassion when people go through these difficult phases. It’s not the time to begin lectures on why they need more faith, prayer and fasting. It’s a time to stand together and believe God for a supernatural intervention.   I began sharing the story of how God intervened supernaturally in the life of my brother and his wife as they stood in faith for a baby for 8 years. Bola and Deji, did all they had to do medically, at a time she was taking between 45 – 55 injections every month coupled with prayers and confessing God’s Word but the babies were just not coming. She said it was as if her body was rejecting and rebelling against the medications. Yet in the midst of this seeming hopeless situation, God began to move. While attending a retreat that was organized for women believing God for their children, the Word of God came to her from, Genesis 1:28 (NLT) Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”   The pastor made them understand what God said in that verse was directed at their spirit and not their bodies. The moment she understood this, she knew that no matter what was happening in her body, the light of the Word that had entered her spirit would affect her body. Proverbs. 18:14 says. “The spirit of a man can sustain his body…”  They held on to the word of God and as their faith grew, they saw heaven’s intervention   Desperation is good when it drives us to God.
