Our recent success may have been "adversity" gift wrapped in "opportunity"!

Last week was amazing at Sales Mastery! I want to first thank @ Todd Duncan for the opportunity and then thank him for the entire event! It was sold out and jammed packed! In addition, there were so many great takeaways! Here’s a 10,000ft perspective of my time on stage with Todd this last week!

0:30 - What is the most important leadership lesson you’ve learned?

1:00 - Success is a lousy teacher. Remember, we can also learn from others mistakes! Learning how ‘not’ do something, from observing other leaders over time has drastically shortened my learning curve as a leader.

1:40 – Make sure to have a process & mechanism in place to help you learn from others at a high level. Without that you would have to get to that level, start making the same mistakes, & only then would you have to learn and adapt.

2:00 – The Dangers of a “Yes” Man/Woman In Leadership. The value of a “war-room” vs “bored-room”! Lesson take-away: Leader crave refinement!

3:10 - What is a near fatal decision you’ve made as a leader? What happened when I heard, "You'll never come back after making this decision Ryan.”

4:15 - Lessons from Rene Rodriquez: leading with only strength is not a winning strategy! We want to see the struggle, the setbacks, when you overcome them, the journey & then... finally the WIN!

5:30 – Lesson take-away: Get crystal clear on priorities & you’ll never regret pursuing them! Let your heart speak in sequence!

5:50 - What would you do over if you could? Whatever you’re thinking… think BIGGER! Lessons from Tom Ferry at Berkshire Hathaway speaking engagement at AT&T Stadium.

7:15 - This lesson was reaffirmed when John Maxwell recently told me: “Ryan, may you never not find yourself in the deep end!”

7:35 – Lesson take-away: Whatever you’re thinking…think BIGGER! Stop playing small! And may you never not find yourself in the deep end!
<div class="" data-block="true" d
