The IMF’s latest <em><a href= "https://www.imf.org/en/Publications/REO/SSA/Issues/2018/09/20/sreo1018"> Regional Economic Outlook for sub-Saharan Africa</a></em> examines what this spectacular increase in capital flows means for the region. In this podcast, economist Mahvash Saeed Qureshi says the recent rise in investment capital offers a lot of opportunities but also carries risks.
