Stream Thinking: The Lion

<p>June 13, 2022</p> <p>My dog Jazzie is an escape artist. Since day one she’s figured out how to get out of homes, offices and metal kennels. According to research, dogs that discover the art of escaping are bored and or lonely. &nbsp;I grip that. She loves us. Maybe a little too much. The trainer warned us, “You’ve got to let her know she’s a dog.” She thinks she’s human. And being human we assumed that after four years she had matured enough to not put her in the kennel. Not good. On two occasions she had somehow turned the water on in the kitchen flooding the house. During the Covid lockdown days, Jazzie was endlessly the Alpha in our relationship. She was forgiving of the world and wasn’t afraid to take her humans out into it. We did a lot of walking. &nbsp;So, while we thought we were treating her like the trainer said, a dog. In essence she’s more of a human. Right?
