Strategies for Success in Sales

<p>We sit down with Yadavan Varatharajah, a strategic engagement rep at Cisco. We discuss getting hired and the art of working in sales.</p><p>--</p><p>*Note from Yadavan</p><p>I am a Strategic Engagement Representative at Cisco Systems and have been with Cisco for over five years. I started at Cisco as a Network Engineer within our Managed Services sector focusing on our Collaboration architecture and eventually leading me to Business Development where I covered Cisco's entire Managed Services portfolio (Collaboration, Datacenter, Networking, and Security) for Enterprise Accounts. Afterword, I decided to pivot and join our Cisco Sales organization where I currently am!</p><p>On the personal side, I recently got engaged to my fiance, Atima, and reside in the Raleigh-Durham area. I enjoy being outdoors (hiking, kayaking, etc) at our local trails/lakes or visiting one of our many local breweries. I love sports and I am an ardent Michigan Wolverines and Dallas Cowboys fan. Lastly, I enjoy traveling when I have the time.
