
Stem Cells – A Cure for Diabetes?

<p>A new study, published in Stem Cell Reports, looked at transforming stem cells into beta cells that are more responsive to blood glucose levels to produce insulin. While stem cells may sound exciting (especially for type 1 diabetics), I doubt it will be a long-term reliable cure.
