Staying Home with Dementia

<p> </p> <p>So anytime someone goes into a long-term placement facility, or nursing home assisted living memory care unit, it is never going to be one-on-one care. You&#39;re never going to have one-on-one care unless you&#39;re hiring a private caregiver to sit with that individual. And so with long-term care placement, that&#39;s very different than at home, where individuals will have usually one-on-one care. Even if it&#39;s their family and they know those people, you know, they&#39;re familiar.
