State looks to close gaps in food supply exposed by pandemic

Feb. 7, 2022 - Following the rush on supermarkets and increasing food insecurity that accompanied the arrival of COVID-19, state lawmakers and then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo tasked the New York State Council on Hunger and Food to find ways to improve the state's food resiliency.
