The eight business men who took part in the formation of the newly struck American Football League where called everything but professional. Known as the "Foolish Club", they would go on to pave the way for one of the most exciting leagues known. While the AFL as it came to be known was short lived due to it's merger with the NFL, it's glorious past is now embraced by the AFC of the National Football League and it's memory lives on through the colorful pages of great AFL history.
