Spineless Republicans Cave Again

Republicans in Congress made a promise that the government would be shut down unless action was taken to address immigration issues and uncontrolled spending in Ukraine. Both of these requests are considered reasonable. Nearly every ordinary person agrees that these are prudent measures, especially at this time. A few "MAGA Republicans" attempted to hold the line, but ultimately, the Republicans gave in, and another spending bill was passed without any concessions on these critical issues. At this point, even the most politically alienated citizen of this country recognizes that we lack representation in this government. Once again the people get the short end of the stick.
