Spider-Man: Homecoming And Far From Home Retrospective (Also, Our Final No Way Home Theories) - NTM #68

<p>(This episode contains MAJOR SPOILERS for Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home.)</p> <p>Ever since The Avengers first assembled in 2012, a lot of Marvel fans began to daydream about a world where Sony could work together with Disney to put Spider-Man in the growing Marvel Cinematic Universe. </p> <p>After a lot of shuffling being done behind the scenes at Sony and the disappointing release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, those daydreams finally came true.</p> <p>In 2015, Sony and Disney agreed to terms on an insane deal that would place Spidey in the MCU. A part of that deal was a new solo Spider-Man trilogy with Director Jon Watts and Tom Holland as the famous wall-crawler. </p> <p>In this week’s episode, we took a look at the first two movies in the MCU Spider-Man: Homecoming trilogy. </p> <p>Are these movies a solid introduction for this adaption of Peter Parker? Or does it rely too much on other established MCU characters like Iron Man?
