<p>Songs in the Wilderness - Stuart Holt</p> <p>Join Diane Redmond as she speaks to Reverend Canon Stuart Holt and he shares with us songs that have influenced his faith journey.</p> <p>Revd Canon Stuart Holt has been an ordained Anglican priest for 33 years and is also a former teacher.&nbsp; He is a hospital chaplain and author of <em>Ben and The Time Globe </em>and <em>Puppets in Praise</em> (Harper Collins,1993). He has recorded and performed his spiritual songs throughout his ministry as a parish priest and performs in a group called The Rockin Revs. The songs are based around the experiences of life in ministry and evangelism.&nbsp; Stuart feels called to revive this theme and to develop the music for a stage production.</p> <p>Stuart has performed the Bride with a band of musicians in a number of places during the 1990s and he feels it is an important theme to engage with and has a mystical attraction which Christians can engage with… we are the bride of Christ… the church!&nbsp; The recording of the bride songs was made with a variety of friends.</p>
