Sometimes "Better" Is Impossible: How to Make Boundaries With Self-Improvement

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hey there, Heifers! I find it INCREDIBLY ironic that this episode is releasing late due to my UNPRODUCTIVE WEEK. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I find myself in a constant state of self-improvement, trying to be better. Unfortunately, “better” doesn’t have a finish line. You can always be doing more, learning more, trying more, and it can become frustrating when you find that you’re not able to manage it all. Or, maybe you are, but at what cost? How rude is it that you sacrifice time to “better” when others seem to hit the lottery and soar with no problem? What are you NOT doing that they are??</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These are all awful ways to go about life in my opinion! I’ve mentioned this thought before, but it resurfaced recently that I spend so much time trying to not just be the best, but</span> <em><span style="font-weight: 400;">better than best</span></em> <span style="font-weight: 400;">(wtf does that even mean?) and get so mad when I don’t hit that high bar I’ve set for myself. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So!
