Social Justice at Grey Sloan Memorial
Nichadia
Description

In this episode Nomsa & Portia get into the nitty gritty of the different approaches and quality of storytelling that Grey's has taken when it comes to issues of social justice. With no final answers or judgments, we discuss how difficult it is to get this kind of storytelling telling right and reflect on the episodes and storylines in which the approach taken has felt true to the lived experiences of marginalized communities and when it has felt a little contrived and preachy. This is probably our favorite episode to date, so we hope you enjoy!

CW: Mentions of sexual assault & R.
