Sneak peak into Beauty and the Biotech Beast

As a scientist, I get a lot of questions. What is cancer exactly? Why do we get fevers when we are sick? Should I still use my Vitamin C serum if it is no longer yellow? Hi, my name is Paige and I am a doctoral student studying cancer biology. Having a broad range of interests has given me a passion for discussing my research, and science in general, in an approachable way regardless if you are in STEM or not! I am expanding Beauty and the Biotech Beast to an IGTV/Podcast series where I will be taming the complexities of science to highlight the beauty of the world around us! So even if science wasn’t your favorite subject in school, I hope to make STEM topics more approachable as well as provide tips to those interested in STEM careers.
