Sixmilebridge Councillor Will Accept Nothing Less Than Total Disbandment Of GAAGO

A long-serving Clare local representative has once again called for the controversial GAAGO service to be done away with. The service has attracted much negative criticism in recent months due to some Munster Senior Hurling Championship matches only being available behind a paywall, and both the GAA and RTÉ have confirmed an an Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee meeting that a review of GAAGO will be conducted in the near future. Meanwhile, Minister for Sport and Media Catherine Martin has stated that she doesn't believe it appropriate for her to intervene directly in the matter. Sixmilebridge Fine Gael Councillor John Crowe says it's "absolutely crazy" for matches to be behind a paywall.
