Shannon Heritage Deal Secured

On Wednesday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council, Tony O'Brien. Tony discussed the recent Cabinet approval of a funding proposal which is aimed at securing the transfer of the management of the Clare assets of Shannon Heritage from the Shannon Airport Group to Clare County Council. He described his delight with the sum of money offered to local authorities and made reference to previous offers that were nowhere near required. Tony highlighted the ongoing work of Clare County Council and is excited the prospect of what may be achieved in the future. He also acknowledged his sympathy for the people and workers of Bunratty.
