Associating others with Allah SWT... Feeling secure against the deep devising of Allah SWT... despairing of the Soothing Mercy of Allah SWT, Surah 12 v87. The example of the one who feels safe against the deep devising of Allah SWT is the one who transgressors and hopes for forgiveness (ibn Abee Haatim). The believer perfoms pious deeds all the while fearing rejection (Ibn Jarir).
