Session 253 - Ali Ibn Abu Talib (ra)- Ali(ra) beautified the Khilafat but it did not beautify him

Alee ibn Abu Talib (ra) 253. Aqeel's (ra) beautiful praise of his younger brother Alee (ra). "....I tempted my brother with the world but he preferred the deen. Then I tempted Moawiah and he preferred me over the deen." Peace agreement between Alee (ra) and Moawiah. 30 years of Prophetic rule under the Khilafat Rashideen now ends and kingship follows thereafter. Alee (ra) beautified the Khilafat but it did not beautify him. Alee (ra) raised it and it tried lowering him. He (ra) had no need for the Khilafat but the Khilafat had need for him.
