Commandments are commanded</p><p> - God told Moses, but that’s not good enough</p><p> - We think that he wrote them down and that’s it</p><p> - But the commandments are commanded</p><p>1 “Now this is the commandment—the statutes and the rules—that the LORD your God commanded me to teach you,</p><p> - God has removed doubt as to how he wants parents to raise their children</p><p> - God doesn’t give us the choice to give our kids a choice</p><p> </p><p>2. Commandments are for teaching fear of God</p><p> - Maybe you will relate to your parental authority differently once you realize what these commands are for</p><p> </p><p>Boldly I approach my Father</p><p>Clothed in Jesus' righteousness</p><p>There is no more guilt to carry</p><p>It was finished upon that cross</p><p><br></p>
