<p>We will report on Governor Kay Ivey telling lawmakers that she plans to call them into a special session on prisons starting September 27th. Congressman Robert Aderholt joins us to discuss his opposition to the President’s vaccine mandate. State Health Officer Dr. Scott Harris will be with us to talk about how declining COVID hospitalizations are somewhat tied to a continued rise in the death rate. New state Representative Kenyatte Hassell of Montgomery will join us to discuss reapportionment and prisons. New State Finance Director Bill Poole will talk with us about using federal stimulus money to help fund proposed new prisons. And State Treasurer John McMillan will be with us to talk about resigning from the office to become the Executive Director of the new Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission</p>
