Selfless | Day 2 of The Secrets to Service

<p>When people recognized that Jesus was the Messiah, they anticipated He would soon overthrow the Roman government and Israel would rise again as a superpower. Yet there came much confusion when His army consisted of only twelve disciples, and He hardly looked like a king. Especially when He was found caring for the sick, sitting with sinners, and washing His disciples' feet. Yet Jesus was clear about His mission. He did not come to be served as a King but to serve as a servant. In popular culture, serving is considered weak and restricted. However, Jesus proved that serving is powerful and pervasive. As a servant, Jesus left an indelible mark on the world. He served professionally, in ministry, and all the way to Calvary. As the body of Christ, we can amplify the impact of the cross through our commitment to service. To do so, we must study the Secrets to Service. This week I want to share with you Five Keys to Serving Like Jesus.</p>
