Self- Taught Clare Pianist Set To Feature In New TV Documentary

On Tuesday's Morning Focus Alan was joined live in studio by Seán Shannon from Ennis, Seán is an exceptionally talented self-taught pianist from Ennis and is set to feature in a new documentary series that will air on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player. 'Face The Music' is a 3-part series that follows a number of gifted students and their teachers at the Royal Irish Academy of Music during a pivotal year in its 175-year history. Viewers will be able to see the story of 18 year-old Seán who taught himself to play on his sister’s toy piano as a child by watching Youtube videos.
