Seed People (1992) - Great, now even the plants have outsmarted us. This doesn't bode well for humanity

<p>A simple geologist out looking for comets near a small rural town, instead stumbles upon an alien invasion by a race of sentient plant creatures. To keep the invaders at bay it's now up to the scientist, a rag-tag group of citizenry, and a dime-store imitation of Doc Brown to push back the alien horde.
