<p>The Police on Tuesday arraigned four security guards, Agber Nelson, Tombuwua James, Shima Geofrey and Okunomo Adeshola before a Lagos State Magistrate’s Court sitting in Tinubu, Lagos Island for allegedly stealing 64 pieces of pipes from their employer.</p>, <p>The defendants are facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing preferred against them.</p>, <p>The prosecutor, Inspector Ajaga Agboko, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on July 10, 2023, around 8pm.</p>, <p>He said the incident occurred at No 54 and 58, Milverton Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.</p>, <p>Agboko said the defendants conspired to steal 64 pieces of Acro pipes valued at N896,000 from their employer, Telisol Limited represented by one Adeniran Tunde.</p>, <p>According to him, the offence contravened Sections 411 and 287 (7) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.</p>, <p>However, the defendants pleaded not guilty to the charge against them.</p>, <p>The Magistrate, Taoheed Babalola, granted them bail in the sum of N250,000 each with one surety each in like sum.</p>, <p>The case was adjourned till August 7 for mention.</p>
