Sarah Collins

<p>In this episode, I hang out with Sarah Collins. Sarah is a multi-disciplinary artist who loves cooking ASMR videos. Mediums ranging from drawing, fine art, and graphic design. She's inspired by cakes, flowers, and nature. From pastries to floral arrangements. Artistic influences like Agnes Martin, Inès Longevial, Camilla Engstrom, Mark Rothko, and the illustrator Furry Little Peach. Other inspirations such as The Magic Treehouse books, the movie The 3 Ninjas, and the show Maggie and the Ferocious Beast. We talk about how Nashville is a great melting pot for artistic ingenuity, loads of talent, and the support to push each other to be better. She shares the importance of putting yourself out there by going to shows, meeting people, and not worrying about how you are being perceived. She talks about working in the service industry early on and how that has been a gateway to meeting many wonderful artists.
