Saluting Service: Veteran Insights with John Alexander on Veterans Day

<p>To honor Veterans Day, Chris Boyd and Jeff Perry invite John Alexander to join them.<br /> John is a Veteran with service in Desert Storm. In addition to his military service, John is<br /> a recently retired Barnstable Police Officer and has worked as the Military &amp; Veteran<br /> Services Advisor at Cape Cod Community College. During the segment John goes into<br /> detail about his own military service as well as a program he helped start to train police<br /> officers to be better able to assist veterans in crisis. John, Chris, and Jeff go into a<br /> detailed discussion of the various charitable groups on Cape Cod who work to provide<br /> services to Veterans and those currently in the military. John recounts his involvement<br /> with Heroes in Transition (HIT), the Ruck Run and various other services and programs<br /> offered by HIT.
