Starting off our series of cases discussing standout cases from surgeons across the globe. In this week’s episode we are reviewing a case discussed with us by Professor Chris Lavy. A stalwart in global surgery. He is an orthopaedic surgeon who has been instrumental in setting up the College of Surgeons of East and Southern Africa (COSECSA), the Oxford Global Surgery group and recently built the CURE children’s hospital of Zimbabwe.
