S2 E11 "Biblical Lenses Part 3: Geographical Lens"

<p><strong>Something that is a passion of ours is truly reading the Word of God in the proper context so that you get everything out of it that is intended.</strong></p> <p><strong>This episode starts a 6 part series that will equip you to read the Bible in the way it was intended to be read. We will go over the lens of "Geography" in this episode.</strong></p> <p><strong>The questions to ask while reading the Bible through the geographical lens is:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Where are we on a map?<br> </strong></li> <li><strong>What do we know about this location?<br> </strong></li> <li><strong>Are we dealing with mountains, valleys, deserts, etc.?<br> </strong></li> <li><strong>Is this an urban or rural setting?<br> </strong></li> <li><strong>Who lives there? What are they like?<br> </strong></li> <li><strong>Who’s the ruling authority?<br> </strong></li> <li><strong>What’s the flow of traffic like around the area?<br> </strong></li> <li><strong>Has anything happened in this location before? (Extremely import- ant question to ask because geography holds memories, and stories connect to other stories through the geographical location.
