This week, Jade speaks to Ruthie Friedlander (@ruthiefrieds) about her past lives in the fashion industry (she held positions at Chanel, The Row, Elle.com, and InStyle), the world of mean girls and bad boyfriends (something like that), Ruthie's struggle with an eating disorder and the details of her recovery. Jade and Ruthie discuss struggling with shame, addiction, friendship breakups, and asking for help through all of it. Having gone through adversity in her 20's, Ruthie decided to go on to co-found The Chain, a peer support group for women struggling with eating disorders and create At Large Agency, an editorial consulting agency that works with brands across fashion and lifestyle.
