Runahara Ganesha Stotra : A Hymn on Ganehsa for Removal of Debts and Loans Recitation and Explanation of Benefits

<p>The Hymn Runahara Ganapati Stotra is from the great Tantric text Krishna &nbsp;Yamala tantra. &nbsp;Runahara means he who destroys debts. Through this hymn &nbsp;the lord is worshipped as the one who frees us from our debts.<br> <br> Ganesha &nbsp;is worshipped as the supreme reality (parabrahman) in this hymn. This &nbsp;hymn describes how and when different gods and goddesses like brahma, &nbsp;Vishnu, Rudra, Durga, Surya (the sun god), Chandra the moon god) &nbsp;worshipped Ganesha for attaining success in their endeavors and obtain &nbsp;what they wish for. &nbsp;By this the supremacy of lord ganesha is well &nbsp;established.<br> <br> The incidents of various gods and goddesses &nbsp;worshipping lord ganesha is well described in the Ganesha Upanishad &nbsp;(Brahma worships lord Ganesha in the beginning of creation) , in the &nbsp;herambha Upanishad ( Lord shiva describes that he worshipped ganesha to &nbsp;gain the power to destroy the tripuras), Ganesha purana, Mudgala purana, &nbsp;vinayaka tantra etc describes various gods worshipping ganesha for &nbsp;gaining success in their endeavors.<br> <br> Since every shloka in this &nbsp;hymn has ‘ṛṇanāśaṃ karotu me’ - May he do the act of destroying the &nbsp;debts for me.
