Flying Dog was founded in Colorado in 1990 and quickly became a favorite of journalist Hunter S. Thompson. Having moved east, they are now the largest craft brewery in Maryland, noted for their wacky branding and eye-popping artwork, courtesy of Ralph Steadman.
