<p>It started as a question: “Have you ever experienced sexism in the beer industry?” Before long, Brienne Allan’s Instagram post quickly grew into a global phenomenon, rocking the industry with stories of rampant harassment, misconduct and discrimination at some of the world’s best known beer brands. It was out of this movement that the Brave Noise beer collaboration was born, “a global collaborative effort to provide inclusive and safe environments for women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ throughout the beer industry.” Having been voted Brewbound’s Cause of the Year in 2021, the beer has now been brewed by 257 breweries across 38 U.S. States and 4 countries, as well as more than 300 homebrewers.
