<p>Residents of Royale Estate off SARS Road in the Obio/Akpo Local Government Area of Rivers State are living in fear following the discovery of a lifeless body of a lady in their neighbourhood.</p>, <p>They expressed fears of a possible mass arrest after they woke up to find the body on Saturday night.</p>, <p>The identity of the woman is unknown, even as the residents wondered how the body got there.</p>, <p>A female resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the incident, said the lady may have been killed and dumped there.</p>, <p>She said, “I wish that the police will do a thorough investigation and find out what happened to her.</p>, <p>“A young lady like this can’t just die on the road. Something would have happened.”</p>, <p>The development attracted residents and, many others who quickly left for fear of arrest.</p>, <p>“Who knows what may have happened? Let the police or the appropriate agency come and remove the body before they begin to arrest people indiscriminately,” one of them said.</p>, <p>The state Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, could not be reached as she did not pick up calls put across to her mobile phone.</p>, <p>Also, she had yet to respond to a test message sent to her as of the time of filing this report on Monday afternoon.</p>
