Restricting junk food advertising aimed at kids

Feb. 11, 2022 - State Sen. Zellnor Myrie, a Brooklyn Democrat, is pushing legislation that would restrict the type of junk food advertisements that can specifically target kids. His proposal would define what's allowed in an ad and would task state regulators with defining junk food that's covered by the restriction.
