Article 7 states, “We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, etc.” Thus with the restoration of the Gospel, the same gifts and powers were restored with it. The gift of tongues has been manifested many times and for many reasons in this dispensation. It was indeed a beneficial gift that helped provide a strong spiritual foundation.
