<p>The response to the unprecedented bushfire crisis in Australia has highlighted the inequality and injustice at the heart of the system. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has been heavily criticised for the government's slow and woefully inadequate measures to deal with the both the fires and the devastating aftermath.
