Resi Talks: Inside Macquarie's UK BTR debut

<p>In this episode EG's residential editor Emma Rosser is joined by the founders of build-to-rent startup Goodstone Living.</p> <p>In February, EG reported that Australian Bank Macquarie was gearing up for its first UK BTR investment, working with Essential Living founders, Martin Bellinger and Darryl Flay.</p> <p>The pair started one the first BTR specialist platforms back in 2011. A decade later their new venture aims to raise and deploy £1bn in this fast growing market. This week, that venture officially launched under the new brand Goodstone Living. </p> <p>In this podcast, Bellinger and Dana Gibson, co-head of Macquarie Asset Management’s Real Estate team for Europe, reveal the strategy for the new business.</p>
