Research Methods: Questionnaires - Formative Measurement

<p>Welcome!</p> <p>Today we talk about one of two ways to approach a latent construct, i.e. something that cannot be measured directly (e.g. with a ruler). In social sciences, most concepts of interest are latent constructs, e.g. satisfaction, motivation, organisational capabilities, etc. </p> <p>In this episode, we talk about less common formative measurements. Actually, even top researchers confuse formative and reflective measures.
