<p>Remo Stars goalkeeper, Kayode Bankole is optimistic that the team will be ready for the CAF Champions League qualifiers.</p>, <p>The Sky Blue Stars lost on penalties against newly promoted Nigeria Premier League side, Sporting Lagos in the final of the Naija Super 8 pre-season tournament on Sunday.</p>, <p>Bankole admitted the loss was a painful one but assured that Remo Stars will take positives from the tournament to prepare well for their continental game.</p>, <p>He also acknowledged the support of the fans throughout the competition.</p>, <p>“It’s painful losing on penalties,” he stated on his social media handle.</p>, <p>“No doubt we will be ready for the CAF Champions League qualifiers soon.</p>, <p>“We will work on ourselves to build on the positivity of the tournament,” he added.</p>, <p>Remo Stars will compete in the CAF Champions League for the first time.</p>
