Remgro more than doubles first-half profit

Remgro has more than doubled its interim profit, with headline earnings per share surging by 139%. The investment holding conglomerate has pointed to an earnings recovery by most of its investee companies, which include Mediclinic, Grindrod Shipping and TotalEnergies.
