Remembrance Day / Veteran’s Day

Every year, on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, a moment of silence is observed to pay homage to the fallen Allied soldiers of World War One.  Similarly, the event is also celebrated as Veterans Day in the US. Many Muslims partake in this day not understanding the origins of this event and also what impact this war had on the Muslim Ummah.
