<p> Thursday 10th June </p> <p><br></p> <p>Rejoice - Joy Reloaded 4</p> <p><br></p> <p>Apostle Paul wrote most of the books in the New Testament, despite writing from prison he always spoke of the importance of joy. In every chapter in the book of Philippians, he said something about the need to rejoice.</p> <p> </p> <p>When we talk about “REJOICING IN THE MIDST OF PROBLEMS” some think we are saying pretend or deny the reality. No! Believers are partakers of God’s divine nature and we can choose to live from our humanity or divinity. Faith doesn’t deny facts, it simply believes in a higher FACT. Our divine nature allows us to see more than what is obvious to the human eyes. The law of gravity is a scientific fact, anything that goes up must come down, however, there is a higher law called the law of lift, this law is what allows planes to fly in the air without coming down. So, there are truths and there are higher truths. Paul understood this so well that he was able to use it to his own advantage.</p> <p> </p> <p>Colossians 1:24a (NLT), I am glad when I suffer for you…</p> <p>Why, Roman 5:3 (NLT), We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.</p> <p> </p> <p>The word “know” used in Romans 5:3 means to see or understand. Paul clearly understood this. When Jesus was going to be betrayed and go to the cross, the pressure of the situation was almost weighing Him down, His humanity couldn’t bear it but He pulled strength from His divine and just rose to a higher level where He could deal with the situation. </p> <p> </p> <p>Joy helps us see beyond the current situation, as we show gratitude, it gradually clarifies our vision so that we can see the situation as God sees it. This was what happened in the life of Paul that made him more than a conqueror.</p> <p> </p> <p>I pray that God will open your eyes to be able to operate at your divinity level.
