REFLECTIONS ON REVELATION

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">You and I can look at Revelation and see that humanity had a need.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> We were trapped in a sinful world that persecuted and killed those who believed in God and tried to live out their desire to honor and please their Creator.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> So, they cried out to God to set us free and avenge their suffering.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">God had a plan from the beginning to save us from ourselves.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> In His sovereign love for us, He devised a plan of action that required Him to become one of us in order to rescue us from our own sinful rebellion.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Thus, Jesus would become the Lover of our soul to rescue us from our own destruction.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> This would produce a love for Jesus in us that would carry us through to the perfection of God’s image restored in us for all eternity.</span></p>
