<p><em>Valzhyna Mort on her selection:</em></p> <p>On April 26th, 1986, the worst nuclear reactor accident in history occurred in Chernobyl. I am reading from <em>Voices from Chernobyl: The Oral History of a Nuclear Disaster</em> by Svetlana Alexievich, translated by Keith Gessen.
