<p>Friday with Brent Winters</p><p>1st &amp; 2nd Hours</p><p>Brent was able to connect with us on the new platorm today. </p><p>We're still very 'green' on the new Jitsi platform but we'll get more fluid with usage.</p><p>Talked a good bit about wearing masks, the medical brawbacks and how to 'opt out' of wearing them.</p><p>Brent gave us some stories on the background of The Civil War and the difference between 'revenge' and 'vengence'</p><p>Good topics/issues and discussion as always when Brent joins us.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>NEW SHOW PARTICPATION METHODS</strong></p><p>The new platform, jitsu will be easier for those who call in on phone lines and the show can now be joined seamlessly by simply pasting a URL into a browser tab.&nbsp;Chrome, Brave, Opera &amp; Firefox we know work fine, or seem to at this point. Search 'jitsi', several come up but all go back to Jitsi Meet.&nbsp;You can join and participate this way also.</p><p><br></p><p>When you've connected.</p><p>1.&nbsp;PLEASE turn OFF the 'video' feature bottom/middle/right MUTE button.&nbsp;The video feature uses too much extra bandwidth and affects the ongoing conversation.</p><p>2. When you are not speaking 'PLEASE' try to keep your devices MUTE button on.&nbsp;Again, to cut background noise and help improve the fidelity of the ongoing conversation.</p><p><br></p>
