Thin and delicate, wide and bold, high waisted or around the hips, they make any outfit look good. And in this war, the belt offers the ultimate protection. You see, one of Satan’s favourite war tactics is to confuse the enemy. Distort the truth. Mess up the way we look at ourselves and those around us. He used it on Eve, and now he’s using it on us.    </p> <p>We are surrounded by lies about what we should look like and what we should own, about what we should do to achieve success and popularity, about what we do to earn and keep a guy’s love and attention. Well, here’s the truth: it’s all lies, lies and more lies about our identity, our purpose and our self worth. Satan even sows seeds of doubt about our very existence. So the truth that God offers us in the Bible is not only life-changing, it’s life-saving. It saves us from the tangled web of destructive lies spun by the enemy.  But it’s one thing to know about the truth as a random, abstract concept, and a whole different story to make it real and personal.
