Radio Episode 156: The Royal Palace: The Queen of Sheba

Rugs of different colours and patterns adorned various part of the room and thick expensive drapery of purple and blue adorned the ceilings and hung to add elegance. The room was bright with lights illuminating from every corner and people dressed in their finest met her gaze and bowed as she walked down the pathway toward the throne. Music played as dancers</span> twirled in one section of the room. The whole ambience made her feel warm and welcomed.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%;"><span lang="EN-GB" style= "font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ligatures: none; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" xml:lang="EN-GB">Her eyes fell on the impressive figure ahead sitting on his throne. His elaborate tunic of blue with gold rips on the collar and hem glistered in the sunlight. His red cape was clasped with a golden brooch with the head of lion. His crown was short but adorned with jewels and his beard was trimmed neatly. He smiled at her and she smiled back. His eyes spoke kindness. When she arrived at his feet, she bowed low and watched as Jaleel inclined his head and kept in there reverently. Her maids had been escorted to another side of the room away from the throne. She almost gasped as the king stood up and towered over her.
