<p>"I blinked a few times and tried to swallow again.  Why was my throat feeling so tight and thick? I glanced over at my friends, who were sprawled on the floor laughing, munching on chips and watching the movie.</p> <p>I tried to ignore the feeling but it wasn’t going away. My vision began to blur and my throat started to constrict. Had I eaten something I was allergic to? I shook my head, no, I wasn’t allergic to anything!</p> <p>Pins and needles pricked my arms and neck and my heart raced frantically. A feeling of impending doom took over and I felt nauseated.</p> <p>In my panic, I bolted to the bathroom and hid myself there. My hands were shaking, and I felt like I was going to pass out.
